His responsibilities included design and creation of newsletters, posters, invitations, the annual report, greeting cards, employee handbook, special event logos, and support materials. As Production Coordinator, he was responsible for seeing that all materials for print were in press-ready formats before sending to the print company and that graphics for the web were in correct formats and color modes.

Brett’s work hasn’t gone without recognition!
In 2004, Kimberly Camp, Yorkfest juror and CEO of the Barnes Foundation, the world's largest private collection of Impressionist art, chose his painting “Tornado Warning” for the Best of Show award. That painting was featured two years later on billboards and t-shirts when Brett was the featured artist for 2006 Yorkest.

Brett has been twice awarded the York Public Arts award in recognition of his creative contributions to the York arts community. The second time, sharing it in recognition for his work with the two other Yorkfest Festival Marketplace jurors for helping to revive Yorkfest.

In 2008, Brett was featured in a video documentary. Produced by faculty from Pennsylvania College of Art and Design entitled "Community Muralists" it focuses on his working with young people helping them produce murals in Harrisburg, PA through the BARAK community arts organization.
